We are a large and popular school which enjoys an excellent reputation within Medway. The school was officially opened in 1967 and was initially a one form entry school. However, the school has expanded due to popularity over the years and now is a two form entry school with no mixed age classes.

The school benefits from an extremely experienced staff.  Our Key Stage 2 results continue to exceed both National and Medway averages which reflect the hard work and commitment of children, parents, governors and of course our staff team.

As a HLTA you complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for teaching and learning under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes and monitoring students and assessing, recording and reporting on students’ achievement, progress and development.

The Skills for Life Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check) and the receipt of two satisfactory references.
